Nigeria is 55 today, let's celebrate!

Nigeria is my country and it’s also yours, if you are a Nigerian. You may be very quick to point out all the negativities of the country and many times, you may have wished that you came from a different country (I know that feeling). Now, why don’t we talk about that. If you weren’t a Nigerian, who would you have been? Would you have been better or worse than who and what you are today?

      

     

 You will never know the answers to those questions because you don’t choose your parents or where you come from. That’s a choice made for us by God and it’s a choice He will continue to make (no one can take that power from God). God has already placed you and me somewhere and that somewhere is ‘NIGERIA’. 

 We can make our country “NIGERIA” be what we want it to be by coming together to build it, no matter where we are located presently (because from afar we can contribute to the development of our beautiful country). Your contributions and mine could be little but know that little changes bring about greater change

Today, being the 1st of October, 2015, NIGERIA is 55. Yippee! Hurray! That’s a big deal. Yes it is! So, as the country celebrates her 55th Independence anniversary today, I wish you and all Nigerians (everywhere) a happy 55th Independence anniversary. Let’s continue to show love to one another. Love builds, but hate destroys. So, choose to love not hate
