Google executive among hundreds who died in massive earthquake that hit Nepal

Dan Fredinburg, a Google executive and an experienced climber has been confirmed to be among those who died in the massive earthquake that struck Kathmandu region in Nepal on Saturday morning. Lawrence You, who is Google's director of privacy posted the news online that Fredinburg was in Nepal with three other Google employees climbing Mountain Everest. He posted that the other three were safe

Fredinburg started at Google in 2007. He served as product manager and the head of privacy at Google X research lab which is in charge of projects such as Google glass, contact lenses and self-driving cars

Google is committing $1 million to the quake response and has launched a "person finder" tool for Nepal to help people find loved ones in the aftermath of the earthquake and is working to get updated satellite images to aid in the recovery process

American India actors left the set of Adam Sandler's new movie

Some groups of American Indian actors left the set of Adam Sandler's new film "The Ridiculous Six" production, on Wednesday, this week. Their complaint was that the script repeatedly insulted native woman, elders and disrespected Native American religious practices

According to 'Indian Country Today Media Network', the actors are primarily from the Navajo Nation and objected to gags such as inappropriately placed feathers and offensive names of female characters

One of those who left the set is 'Loren Anthony' .He stated that though he understands that the movie is a comedy, the portrayal of the Apache was severely negligent and the insults to women were more than enough to walk off the set

A company statement which was released by Netflix has defended the film. It states:  " The movie has ridiculous in the title for a reason: because it is ridiculous. It is a broad satire of Western movies and the stereotypes they popularized featuring a diverse cast that is not only part of- but in on  - the joke

Ridiculous Six is a comedy produced by Adam Sandler and Allen Covert and slated for Netflix-only released. The production began this month in San Fe and elsewhere in New Mexico

The Harry Potter and Die Hard star Alan Rickman marries Rimo Horton after 50 years together

69-year-old Alan Rickman has married his long time partner Rimo Horton who is 68. The actor who is also a producer started dating Rimo Horton when he was 19 and she was 18. They both lived together in London for 50 years

 The actor revealed to German newspaper Bild that himself and Rimo have tied the knot in secret. He told German newspaper that the wedding took place in New York and that no one else was present at the wedding. He also said that after the wedding himself and his wife walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and ate lunch

Marvel has released clips of its upcoming movie "Age of Ultron". One of the clips shows a fight between Iron Man and Ultron

Avengers: Age of Ultron is the epic follow-up of the biggest Super Hero story of all time. It is written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige. It is based on Marvel comic book series "The Avengers" which was first published in 1963

New trailer and posters of Disney's Tomorrowland

Disney has released the third trailer for "Tomorrowland" along with IMAX posters for the movie.  Tomorrowland is a new Disney creation starring George Clooney as Frank,Thomas Robinson as younger version of Frank , Judy Greer, Britt Robertson as Casey Newton, Hugh Laurie, and Raffey Cassidy as Athena

 The trailer offers glimpses of the future and  Clooney and Robertson's characters are on the run

The movie is directed by 'Brad Bird' the director of Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, and the animated features like "The Iron Giant" and "The Incredibles"

'Tomorrowland' will hit theaters on May 22nd, 2015

Posters of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Zack Synder took to twitter to reveal the first :Dawn of Justice" posters.

 It was reported that those who attended the special IMAX trailer event on Monday night were handed the posters.

One of the posters features Batman (Ben Affleck) with the Superman symbol across his face, while the Superman (Henry Cavill) poster has the symbol of Batman across his face.

The movie which is set to be released on March 25, 2016 stars ;Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/ Batman, Henry Cavill as Clerk Kent/ Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Diane Lan as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, , Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto,Scoot McNairy.

One more star has joined the list of stars to feature in Disney live action retelling of "Beauty and the Beast" and that star is none other but ‘Stanley Tucci’. He will be playing ‘Cadenza’ the grand piano, a new character to the realm who is described as a neurotic maestro

Other stars that I have published before who will feature in the film include: Emma Watson, Dan Steven, Luke Evans, Emma Thompson, Ewam McGregor, Ian McKellen. The film will be released on March 17, 2017
