An arrest warrant has been issued for Justin Bieber in Argentina

An arrest warrant was issued for Justin Bieber in Argentina on the ground that he failed to respond to summons related to the allegations that he ordered two of his bodyguards to attack a photographer.

Judge Alberto Julio Banos on Friday ordered the "immediate detention" of Justin Bieber and two of his bodyguards; Hugo Alcides Hesny and Terrence Reche Smalls.

The singer is accused of instructing two of his bodyguards to attack a photographer 'Diego Pesoa' in 2013 outside a Buenos Aires nightclub.

Under the Argentine law, the singer would face a jail sentence between one month to six years if convinted on a charge of causing injuries but the singer never showed up to answer any of the charges.

It is not clear whether the arrest warrant extends outside Argentina but Diego Pesoa's lawyer implied that the warrant would force the singer to return to the south American country.

"Now we just need to wait for the police to find him and bring him For us, this is a triumph against all those who said this case was a bluff and that we didn't have anything" said lawyer Matias Morla
