The case of Kanye West beating up a paparazzi has been settled

In 2003,Kanye West was charged with misdemeanor battery after attacking a photographer Daniel Ramos outside a terminal at Los Angeles International Airport because Ramos asked him why he wouldn't talk to photographers. Kanye who pleaded no contest was sentenced to 2years probation. 

The lawsuit filed by the photographer has now been settled; Daniel Ramos' attorney Gloria Allred made this known in a statement issued on Tuesday. 


TMZ reported that according to Ramos' attorney, Gloria Allred, one term of the settlement was an apology from Kanye to Ramos which was followed by a hand shake.

"We believe that this case sent an important message . Celebrities are not above the law, and they have no right to physically attack someone simply because they were asked a question" said Gloria Allred
